No offense taken. I understand that you don't read like I do. If I hadn't already had so much trouble when I got the Voyage, it wouldn't have occurred to me to ask about the Aura One. I prop the reader on its side and I'm lying on my side in bed. The cover is folded back. I fall asleep reading. When I wake up a while later, I want to read some more. The reader is in front of me and all I should have to do is press the button (like the top button on the kobo) and it turns on and I read some more. Yes, I should just go back to sleep but often I can't. This is the way I do most of my reading.
It does matter to me that I would have to do all this extra fumbling around in the dark with the cover to get the reader back on. I've solved it with the Voyage by gluing something on the back cover, but it's not something that should have to be done. I notice they changed the button to the top on the Oasis. I appreciate the thoughts, but I've always got the reader propped, whether on my desk or on a pillow in bed and I very often have to restart it.
I'm probably going to get the Aura One and hope for a different cover from a third party. I've never used an e-reader or tablet without a cover.
