I'm not a football fan but do know that there are no such professional football teams so I thought that Frisco might be referring to the team for San Francisco State college? Though I know that people in San Francisco do not like the city referred to as "Frisco."

Curious bit of history. At Altamont it wasn't the Rolling Stones that came up with the idea for paying the local chapter of the Hell's Angels to provide security, it was suggested to them by the Grateful Dead who had used them in the past. The rest was history, the end of the 60's?

Anyway it turns out that the football game was actually a rebroadcast of a game between two high school teams in Texas (link below). They do love their football in Texas. I spend two years (Jr. High) in Dallas and yet had never heard of Frisco, Texas.

Yes, you are correct on the Rolling Stones and Altamont.
And yet it is in the same region.

Ok curiosity is killing the cat... did you ever hear of Permian High school?
