Did you get both packages from NiLuJe's snapshot thread AT THE SAME TIME?

Get a copy of both, today, now -
Test the md5sum or sha1sum of those against the checksums of the two you are already trying to use.

you should find:

fbe687575add84641515af2e2d4d8472  kindle-linkss-0.24.N-r13408.tar.xz
3b3e8fc8486febfb1c0b03b859150eee  kindle-python-0.14.N-r13408.tar.xz

The KT2 has been around a long time now, use the correct files and find that everything works correctly.
