I have been a windows used since 3.0 or 2.1 I cant recall. And have always been willing to jump ahead and try all the betas and new things. I did skip Vista and I skipped 8 because I didn't like the looks of it but was right out in front for W10.

Many of the W10 Betas crashed and burned horrible deaths but I moved on even trying it on my New to me Mac Book Pro running it in a virtual machine while running a Beta verison of IOS. Playin with fire I tells ya.

So When I heard about W10 Anniversary I was ready to go. Downloaded the update and let it rip...........Bueller.....Bueller....Bueller and like Ferris nobody was home.

Blank screen....OR empty desk chair.

Since my machine is home built I thought maybe something broke. Undid all the drives ..nothing no Bios. Unplugged the PS checked all the connections. re seated the memory.

Nada. Looked over everthing, and went to bare bones using 1 hard drive and the onboard video. Back up

Started plugging it all back together one at a time and restarting untill it was back the way it was and Windows did a few disk checks and 3 hours later I was back to where I started.with no explanation of what really happened.

It almost wants me to just make the full on jump to a Mac Mini.
