Technically you’re correct, they were reliably and dependably garbage. Not only no bellies but frozen to boot.

There was a little clam shack near Saco, Maine that had clams to die for. Fresh that day and fried in pristine oil. One of the things I miss from living in the Northeast.

HoJo’s was on the Mass Pike and Connecticut Turnpike also. Remember when there was a Connecticut Turnpike? I remember a town on the CT coast, Branford I think, that swore they would never, ever, under any circumstances allow a MacDonalds to be built in their snooty town. When HoJo’s left the turnike, McDonalds took over that location. There wasn’t anything they could do to stop that.
