Doing a quick Google of RGB LEDs, I came up with this (which makes sense to me):

So if the blue intensity is set to "0", wouldn't that mean that there is no blue light?
And looking at some of the review pictures, the screen colors do not look like the "yellow" of any of the Kobo devices I've seen/owned.
