No larger B&M retailers currently carry Kobo devices.

There is a list of indie book stores that participate in the Kobo resellers program here...

Some stock a few devices, but most only special order (from what I've read).

Two that did stock them and would ship in the past (don't know the current status) are Politics & Prose in Washington D.C. and Greenlight Bookstore in Brooklyn, NY


As Jon says what many folks have done for past devices is order from Chapters-Indigo in Canada as they've proven reliable and the exchange rate is currently favorable.
