I sent an email to the French site inquiring about the price of the Inkpad 2, and put in caps the word 'NEW' to signify that I was thinking of buying it. The word 'NEW' was in the title of my email, and I also used that word twice in the body of my text.
They responded with a link back to their site (which I had visited earlier) and which only lists the original Inkpad and NOT the Inkpad 2.
Such idiots!
I then sent a calm email back, explaining that their site did not list the Inkpad 2 - the one I was interested in - but rather the original Inkpad.
Let us ponder this for a moment, as we collectively ask this question: "What is the best way not to sell a new product, specifically, this product?"
Color me perplexed and (actually) amused.
ADDED: I should also mention that I was referred to the French site, after having written to the international site. They told me that the French site is the one that can ship to a USA address. By the way, if anyone is interested, the price is 40 euros to ship to the USA. But you might not get the correct Inkpad....you know.....the NEW one.
