Why would you want one of those? The back of an e-reader is almost impossible to damage. I have a gel back for my Nexus 4 phone, because it has a glass back that tends to crack when the phone is put down too hard. I saw reports of that within hours after release in the Netherlands, so before I actually started using the phone I first ordered a back cover for it.

Had the phone's back been made of metal or plastic, I'd have used it without a cover whatsoever. I've never dropped, scratched, or damaged a smartphone. An e-reader, with a 6+ inch screen that is not protected by something like Gorilla glass, is another matter; I always, and only, use book-style covers for those.
