Applesauce, I've discovered the same thing. I don't use my buttons that much and it was the main selling point. One if my biggest gripes with my Mom's paperwhite was that the screen responded too slow, so I would tap twice and you know what happens. Not a problem at all with the Voyage. So, I read one handed all the time and just press the screen for next page.
When editing a book, however, I still find the Kindle hdx superior for marking and going back. Annoyingly, they keep changing the software making this a lot harder.
Paul, if you have a Smartphone, apparently you can link your kindle to the Smartphone. That would give you the same access as 3g. I just replaced my flip phone with a low IQ smartphone so still not an option for me.
