You don't need ADE 2.0.1, ADE 1.7.2 works fine in Linux

You don't need ADE 2.0.1, I have been using ADE 1.7.2 in Linux for four years and have downloaded hundreds of epubs from a variety of retailers and from my public library.

The only issue I have come across is with Google Play, their site is faulty and results in Error #2038 when downloading with ADE 1.7.2.

(Edit: I posted a workaround for Google Play here, and although it works in the sense that it allows you to download the book and read it in ADE, there is a problem when it comes to removing DRM, so I thought it best to delete it. If you want to buy books from Google Play and be able to remove DRM then you will probably need ADE 2.0.1, but everywhere else 1.7.2 works fine.)
