Duokan is a closed-source commercial rip-off app containing GPL open source code, and it has stolen from our developer community here as well, while violating open source licenses and being incompatible with our hacks. We do not support it here, but there is a thread dedicated to Duokan nonetheless.
It may be possible to port Android OS to kindle devices, but somebody has to be interested in it enough to devote the time to develop and support it. The are hints (adb server) that newer eink kindles may have official amazon Android OS in the future.
