Cinisajoy, sorry for the double post here. My Kindle is actually working fine, no issues at all. I started this morning with version 3.2.1 and made it to 3.4, but after the 3.4 update, I was not able to update it to 3.4.2. I've been doing the updates over USB Transfer and it just won't recognize the 3.4.2 one to enable the "Update Your Kindle" option in settings - it's always greyed out.
Because I can't get to 3.4.2, I can't access the cloud or my archived items, nor can I add new ones, so it's pretty useless although technically it "operates" perfectly well.
