Good evening everyone. First, I wanted to thank everyone who has helped and given me advise on how to get the emails from Sony. As I told you in my last posting, I switched to GMAIL. I was going to POP3 it, but decided to just forward ALL emails from GMAIL straight to my regular ISP. I received my first SONY email this afternoon, the first time ever.
As a side note, I thought some of you would find this interesting. If you remember from my last posting my ISP wanted me to forward a link to SONY where they could go and put in a request to UNBLOCK future emails. I took a look at that link last night after posting, and all it requested was the IP address for the email address. Thanks to everyone's posting, I had that email address handy, so I went searching, and quickly found out what the corresponding IP address was. I typed that in and submitted it for review for unblocking. I know that's not entirely honest, but I really doubt that I would get someone from SONY to do that.
Well, when the email from SONY downloaded today (the one that was forwarded from my GMAIL account) I also received one from SONY sent to my regular email address at my ISP. It has been unblocked by them. So, anyone using the same ISP as I have will now be able to receive their SONY emails and never have to go through the trouble that some of us have went through. I'll stick with my reliable GMAIL account though. I don't want to miss out on something valuable. :-)
