Different people have different sized hands, different comfort weights for devices, etc.
I will say the Kobo Aura One does seem to distribute the weight evenly. I keep teetering back and forth on if I want to buy one. I love my H2O, a big part of the reason I opted for that device was the bigger screen.
My concerns with the Kobo One-
1) lack of an SD card, which isn't a huge deal as I don't read comics and my current library is a hair under 2GB. And I can't see myself nearly quadrupling that before Kobo releases another new device with potentially greater storage. But I still do like having a 32gb card in there and knowing I wont hit limits.
2) the capacitive touch screen. Every ereader I've ever used has been IR. And while on one hand I'd love a device where dust and such can't get stuck under the bezel, I worry about accidentally triggering page turns while reading.
