Well said. battery is not a trivial advantage.
But also if one reads on a sunny place, come on, there is no comparison with a retrolight carta eink! is like reading paper.
I just tried today for few hours the last super amoled of samsung s7.
great screen, i am going definetly to buy the next note 7. Reading under the sun is for the first time possible. But still.. no way to compare with eink,
is just so restful and relaxing, this is the point, we do not have to see the empiric advantages, but the healthy advantages in the long run for our eyes, and levels of stress, reading from eink is just fantastic because scientifically is not backlighted... it is clear stimulus...response. whatever people think,shotting the light in the eyes not the way to go all day. this should not be confutable imo
