I'm so disappointed.
I absolutely love the size, weight, proportions, and flush screen of my original six-inch Aura. All I've been waiting for was an upgraded version with a better screen and possibly waterproofing (only if it could be done without that rubber port cover of the H2O). If I'd heard of the new comfort light pro I'd have wished for that too. If it had all that I'd have been more than happy to pay upwards of two-hundred dollars for it.
The new six-inch Aura has a higher resolution (and probably less cloudy) screen but everything else is a downgrade as far as I'm concerned. It's noticeably taller and a bit thicker and heavier. It's also lost its flush screen and it hasn't gotten the new comfort light pro or waterproofing.
I have a Glo HD and it's fine but I don't love it like I do the Aura. I also have an Aura H2O which is very nice but overall the six-inch size is better for me. Unfortunately, the new Aura seems like a Glo HD with a slightly upgraded screen which I probably wouldn't even notice.
I've been reading mostly on my Oasis lately. It has a very good screen (just the luck of the draw I guess) and I like its proportions with the asymmetric flipping flush screen and buttons. I'd have preferred more battery power in the reader itself and I really, really miss Kobo's font customization options but I guess I'll just be sticking with the Oasis for now.
