There is a 'super reset everything' procedure -
Just install an amazon update, it over-writes the entire 'main' image.
Step #7 of the current jb has direct links to a selection of 'main' versions for your pw3.
And yes, your jailbreak will survive (if you installed the 'hotfix' package).
