I used to see (as recently as a couple of years ago) a lot of cookbooks from Pamela Kazmierczak. For some reason, I don't anymore. This one is actually several years old. I'm curious as to why she's not putting out the cookbooks as she did, and hoping that everything is alright with her.

In the U.K., where I assume that you grew up, were there ever "Popeye" cartoons on television? Everytime that I see something about spinach, I connect it with Popeye. Anytime that he got into a situation that he couldn't get himself out of, he would find some way to open a can of spinach and down it. All of a sudden he had a tremendous energy burst and was invincible. I'm sure that parents liked the way that it reinforced to their children to eat their greens (green vegetables). There's a brand of spinach here locally, at least, called "Popeye Spinach."
