It appears from the forum that many users are experiencing this since beginning of August. I have 4 Kindles with 4 different email addresses and none of them are receiving the books I am sending (yet the ones from free book sites/Amazon work flawlessly)

I hesitate to delete all the books as you suggested and reenter them, if it is indeed a programming issue. If there was an issue on my 2nd Fire ... why would it affect the 1st Fire, the Paperwhite and the Regular Kindle also ??
