You're not seeing a change on ANY part of the screen? If so try putting it on charge for a couple of hours (preferably a wall charger rather than via USB). If you have to use a computer try a different USB port and different USB cord if this doesn't initially work. With e-ink when it runs out of power whatever was last on the screen stays there.
Does what's on the screen look normal or is there part of it that's different to rest? This could suggest a broken screen substrate (post a pic here and we can likely tell).
Try connecting it to your computer via USB and see if it is detected (just to make sure it isn't completely dead)
