I just don't think there are many stories that need some 33 hours to be told, and when I see that book one seems to be the shortest of the bunch, it gives me pause and makes me think the author must be
extremely verbose. In 33 hours I could finally read Anna Karenina instead, and stop feeling guilty about not getting through it in high school.
