So, the device can be reset (as now described) -
The downgrade firmware installed -
The jb will drop a certificate and a fake registration file (to enable UYK on firmwares that need it) -
Then install the hotfix package with UYK -
Sounds like a 'one plan to fit all models' to me.
It is a good thing that (White) KT-3 devices are still relatively rare or we would have been swamped with trouble reports.
I don't know if anyone tested it on 5.8.x (our current problem case).
