This series appears to have started off conventionally published - at least SYKM lists the first two as DTB published, and I own the first one in paperback, although Bennett/Gallagher/Bentley has appears to have gone for e-publishing recently with this series. (Bennett/Gallagher/Bentley's other series is published by Penguin.)
In any case, the first three are free as a set right now, so you can split the set and delete the last one if you really don't like that the third one that was e-published only  .
