Nonsense, in today's competitive (aka crazy) fancy hipster restaurants, $9.99 will get you a shot glass sized "bowl" of artisan chicken soup. Made with artisan water (they get artisan ice cubes and then melt them for the water), organic, free-range, hand-massaged chicken & organic, free-range (aka what they found growing in a ditch somewhere) vegetables!
Opening yourself a can of chicken soup from the grocery store is
so gauche nowadays.
Note: I don't know if this really exists, but I would not be surprised to hear there's a restaurant that has it verbatim.

Dyer's Burgers, that sells deep-fried hamburgers. The fryer grease hasn't been changed since 1912. They strain it daily, but never change it. They've even moved it (supposedly under police guard) to new locations when they had to move.
I don't know if they have chicken soup on the menu, but if they do, I don't think I'd want to order it.
