Personally I have a problem with misrepresentations.
To me, it was nothing more than click-bait when it was not anywhere close to a full range or even all the sizes.

Forgive the forum but since this is a forum about e-readers and devices, many of us take words literally.

Oh and can I interest you in some beach type property?

And PS since the title of that other thread is Would you like a riddle, someone else asking another riddle would not be hijacking.
ROFL...where to start?

If you would even bother to re-read my initial post, or my video description, or even the in-video text for that matter, you would see that I never claimed this was the full size range of all e-readers in existence.

What I actually said was:

Quote:
If you want to get a better idea of just how big the spectrum of e-reader screens is, check out my video below comparing various e-readers from 6 inch all the way up to 13.3 inches.
There it is. I've clearly set out a range- one which you'll note does not specify the totality of all e-readers in existence. Before you start..."all the way up" was my colloquial way of implying the large size gradient from 6-13.3 inches. You'll also note, I said "a better" idea and nowhere did I say a conclusive idea.

So, yeah....I never said the full range. You have made the only misrepresentation here via your own carelessness. You owe me an apology, it seems...not that I expect for one moment that it will ever materialize.

It is an interesting point that so many people were quoting something that never existed in order to bash my video. Argument, for any sake, is apparently a strong nectar for some...

That's rich, considering the title of my other thread is actually "Anyone up for a Riddle?".

You're someone who takes their words very very literally.... but only when convenient, it seems

Oh, yes, what happened to that literal streak in you when you neglected to even read my posts correctly? You were quite happy to skip to bashing my video for some imagined misstep.

So, my advice would be to sit down, take a few deep breaths, and actually READ the posts you intend to drag through the mud first....and do be careful of their wording.

Really? How so, exactly? Because I missed one 5 inch model you described (which I have never even heard of) and because I did not include a 6.8 or 7.8 inch display? Sorry, but you really don't have any ground to stand on here.

I intended a general size range (I will say again, GENERAL SIZE RANGE) and that spectrum (made clear in the video and every description of the video) is supposed to speak for any screen size in between 6 to 13.3 inches. It is implied that the viewer can see these given examples as start, mid, and end points within a potentially broader spectrum but both sharing a start and end point of 6 and 13.3 inch screen sizes, respectively. To my mind, and that of most reasonable people I would say, I have succeeded in getting "anywhere close" to a full range. MOST e-ink e-readers fall somewhere in between the 6-13.3 inch range....almost all that I have ever heard of in fact.

I don't expect that this will quell your misdirected anger. Some people on these forums just want to argue something...doesn't matter if it is right or wrong to them. It stems from something missing in their lives...hopefully you'll be better than that, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

What's actually important, and what I have succeeded in doing, is giving people who are unsure (including those who have NOT dedicated their lives to cataloguing every single e-reader in existence) about what e-reader sizes exist out there a solid starting point. The video will give them "a better idea of just how big the spectrum of e-reader screens is".

I didn't make the video for you...I made it for them. (---------> broad minded, responsible forum readers)

Hi all,

Really was distressed to see all the comments that were nitpicking this man's video.
While I agree that the music he uses is a little like lounge music, what would you like to hear during a review of e-readers?

Also, this guy gives you this useful info...and the best you can do is to jump on it for not having every e-reader ever made? Wow...talk about ungrateful!

I think it was a good video and showed a GENERAL range of e-readers in a great way. I think there is something fishy about the "Harry" user and the "JSwolf" user jumping on his video. I looked to see if they had bad grievence with "Inktelligent" user before...turns out both did! "Harry" user hated on his riddle for music I actually liked and "Inktelligent" corrected "JSwolf" guyy for hijacking his thread. My view is that if yu can not compartmentalize these things, which he was right about anyway, then don't post anything at all on his threads.

We have a saying in the village I come from......"If smeone gives you Paella, don't throw it back in their face, no matter if it isn't tasty". Really sad to see the moderators like "Harry" user and "DrDrib" get sucked into these petty kind of comments, instead of correcting them. From my standpoint all these complainy users look like horse's behind...big time.

I say, like a few others here, great job inktelligent!
Thanks Orange Gelato! You summed this up exactly and perfectly!
