Your only problem was putting step #8 in front of step #7.
In this case, the safest course would be to now re-install the 'hotfix' -
It will do no harm even if it isn't required.
Then follow by re-installing all of the add-ins you want to use.
This re-installation of everything is normally required after any Amazon update.
(We only protect the jailbreak and the supporting code from Amazon updates, everything else of ours has to be re-installed.)
