On the one hand I enjoyed being back in the Liaden universe and seeing the overall story of things progress. On the other hand none of the story lines covered resolved much of anything. It would have been nice to see at least some of them a little more wrapped up especially since the next book is "all Theo, all the time" (a good thing for me, but...) so it may be years before much more progress is shown for these events.
Overall I am positive about the book. Just would have liked to see a little more progression in places, some threads wrapped up, or come together with others.

And Sharon Lee just posted today that she has pushed back the submission date for the book
after the next Theo book to the end of the year, instead of this month.
