I always take my tablet with me (8"), but that's 16:10, not 4:3. But as even my H2O never leaves the house unless I'm on vacation, fragility shouldn't matter too much.

About size: I had a 4.5" smarthphone. Which I thought was huge next to the prevous one, which was 3". Last year, I bought a 5.5" one. Man, that thing was humongous! But now, I don't even see it's large anymore, unless I put my old 4.5" phone next to it.
The same happend with my H2O. When I first saw it for real, I thought it was very large. Now, I only see it if I put it next to my husband's Kindle...
