Also the new Touch doesn't have the home button. I don't like the home button on the old Touch, it seems to take extra steps to do some things (maybe it's just me). And the battery life is a huge concern, I have one for my son, with one or two books on it, which he uses at most 10 minutes a day. The battery drains pretty fast. I would not recommend one at all, not when the newer one is available.
