On a slightly more analytical note, you can tell it is dead because regardless of what anyone will
do about it, everything worth saying has long since been said and now we are on the "loudly repeat everything" stage. (Although at this point we may have devolved entirely to the meta-speak About The Thread stage, in which case, all the more so.)
