Not really
safe so Bulk mode only lets you do some things to
all selected books:
Do groups where you might be able to use the S&R tab of bulk mode to move the field data, then use the Basic tab to set all of a field the same (Author, series [I]name[/I, add a Tag....)
The Series_index is unique.
Manage Series PI or Import List PI to manage the SAME Series ordering
BTW Your ADD template (field order) must match the filename convention being imported so it plus the pieces into the correct slots.
For the most part, NOT using the filename for books WITH internal metadata usually is the best results. as always: GIGO
