I too hope they haven't moved off of $0.99 as their price point for a few sale albums in each "collection", but $1.99 is quite reasonable for some of these - I'll just be a little less willing to say "WTH" and try something I haven't heard before. I was happy to also find
Heartbeat City by The Cars at $1.99 as well - as GtrsRGr8 says, it's not a compilation or greatest hits, but I like several of the songs on the album, so it's well worth it to me.

The album is a compilation of their hits, but only through 1981. But arguably (I'm a person who would argue in its favor) those are the years when they produced their best stuff.
There are a few other albums on sale for $1.99. None of them are compilation of hits, just ordinary albums, unless you count the soundtrack to the movie Cocktail ( link to its webpage). Sorry, there are no 99 cent albums at all this time (boo!, hiss!).
If you wish to view all of the albums from the 1980's that Google has marked down at the present time, head to this webpage. Ignore what it says about prices starting at $6.99--as I mentioned, there are several less in price than that.
