any help figuring what is wrong and how to fixe it would be apreciated.
According to the log, you haven't updated the extended driver. You are at 2.5.3 (highlighted in red), and the driver is up to 2.7.2. There were changes in calibre 2.60.0 that meant the driver had to be updated. Updating the driver will almost definitely fix the problem.
