Its a long time since I've used anything other than the stock firmware on my current readers, so can't be of any help with KOReader. Probably better for the specific queries on PDF's, KOReader etc to post in the relevant forums. Be sure to have a look at existing threads in places like the Kindle & Kobo Developers forums as well as the top level Kindle/Kobo forums.
