It depends if you need/use Wifi. I use it every time I want to upload new files on the device - to synchronize with a Dropbox folder. It's very useful - no need to connect cable to the device. You just turn on wifi and click "synchronize". Job done. Connecting a cable and manually moving files seems so old school
