md5sum -c name-of-hash-file
The hash file has the name of the file to be tested, and both files need to be in the same directory.

But any md5 tool will work, it is a standard crypto function.

No way - there are a zillion such utilities, too many to list.
Google should be able to give you a list if you need a list.
