to iRex: how to improve the ui

since some of us have had their iliad for a few days now, post your suggestions for an improved ui here (i hope they're still working on that and that it's not too late)

here is what came to my mind after using the iliad for a day (more to follow)

the book list:
- the listing of six titles per page is not enough. decrease the height of the displayed info box and bump it up to at least eight or ten books per page
- display of the titles is less than optimal. show the whole filename/title, not just the first thirteen characters. use the full width for the title and move further book infos to the next line
- i hope there will be some kind of database added to the 'bookshelf' so that i can add author and other info. showing the filename is not enough.
- there should be an option to group the books by author so that i don't have to click through ten pages (which is a pain in the a.. on the iliad) to get to the book i want
- the possibility to mark books read/unread would be appreciated
- if i insert a memory card/usb stick and there is a 'books' folder on it, the books from this folder should automatically be included in the book listing (when i click the 'books' button)
- the icon in front of the book listings is not necessary (in my opinion). i know that it's a book. so why display an icon for it. use the space to display more infos

edit:
reg. grouping by author:
maybe they can even add categories and genres, so that i can jump into the fiction/nonfiction, studies/personal or horror/science fiction section of my bookshelf.
thinking of it, they should have tree like this ->
category (for study/job ...) > genre (like horror/exams ...) > author > book listings
and they should add a favourites entry and maybe one for the last five books read (all accessible from the first page of the bookshelf with the category listings)

edit2:
corrected several spelling errors
