I'm getting ready to leave, with temperatures predicted to rise to 30C today and even higher tomorrow I've set my alarm earlier than normal so I can go to the supermarket on the way to work instead of on the way back from work.
The first night at my friends' place I nearly got a heart attack. I had walked dog Luca and made sure all doors downstairs were locked. I was upstairs getting ready to take a shower when I heard someone coming up the stairs! It was Luca, who I've heard from a neighbour, now occassionally comes upstairs. She never did that before, the previous dog did, whenever she felt it was time for her walk in the morning and I was late she would sneak upstairs and jump around the bedroom.
Luca did it again when I was almost asleep. Luckily, in the two nights since she stayed downstairs.
