Good question. It is confusing, to say the least. To get to that settings page you have to click the
E-mail Preferences & Notifications link on the Accounts page. So I assumed it referred to emails. It was already set to "receive newsletters for deals and personalized product recommendations" but if it is snail mail I NEVER get any snail mail from Amazon. Confusing. Maybe Amazon is taking lessons from Facebook on how to make settings as confusing as possible.
