Version 1.0.28 - 2016-07-18 Major enhancements.
- New Identifier: zkey_file. Since Zotero items may have many file attachments, this new identifier will uniquely identify each Calibre book created from each of those many file attachments, although all of those books will have the identical Zotero zkey since they belong to the same Zotero item.
- New user option to import .txt, .text, .html and .htm file attachments as Calibre "books", although Calibre will automatically convert the html files into .zip formatted books. Those must then be converted from .zip to .epub to be readable in an e-reader. In Calibre: Preferences > Conversion. To execute a conversion, simply select all of the .zip formats using the Tag Browser, right click them, and select Convert Books > Bulk Convert. Formats of .txt and .text need no conversion.
- New user option to import Zotero items that have no file attachments. ZMI will create an empty .txt book for those items. You can edit that .txt book, of course. Otherwise, the metadata will be just as for normal Zotero items that have a file attachment.

p.s.
If you have issues, and post a comment here to express it, please also attach the associated Zotero CSV export file AND a .zip file containing the Zotero collection's entire "data directory". That is the one with the zotero.sqlite database, and the "storage" directory that contains your file attachments. I need your "real" data to use with Zotero and Calibre in order to be able to reproduce and resolve your issues. Thanks.
