Good post, Fizzy! And good blog post from De_Jane (DearAuthor.com).

Using the unauthorized (illegal) release of the Harry Potter novel helps drive home the unsanity of ebook nonpublishing (yes, I understand the neogramatical nature of that nonsentence).

It is also interesting to note that romance novels seem to be constantly at the top of sales charts for ebooks. I would normally presume that Science Fiction would be the chart topper.

I personally never read romance novels, except for the J.D. Robb "in death" novels, and that is only because it is Science Fiction to me. I skip all the romance paragraphs.
