Yes.

So far I've done the "usual" things I do with Calibre under Mint 18.0, namely:
  • Read a book
  • Add a book to the library
  • Convert to other formats
  • Send to device
  • Run deDRM plugin
  • Run other plugins (Count Pages & Goodreads)

And everything seems to work as it did under 17.3. I say seems only because it's still relatively early days.
