Yes.
So far I've done the "usual" things I do with Calibre under Mint 18.0, namely:
- Read a book
- Add a book to the library
- Convert to other formats
- Send to device
- Run deDRM plugin
- Run other plugins (Count Pages & Goodreads)
And everything seems to work as it did under 17.3. I say seems only because it's still relatively early days.
