For the 3rd year in a row Kobo just sent me a birthday email with a promo code that does not work. I spent 1 1/2 hours on chat with their rep SParker, who kept insisting the code was good on his/her end and there for I must be an idiot for not being able to get it to work! Obviously they did not say that, but it came across loud and clear. After an hour plus of jumping through hoops and doing the same thing over and over again, they disconnected me. So I called, which I was trying to avoid since it eats through my minutes on my phone. Miquel told me that the code in the email I got was wrong and it was a different code that I should have gotten. Gave me the "correct" code, which was completely different. But when I went to use the Correct code, it also does not work. Called kobo back and got Miquel again, he said that the code he gave me is one I had gotten and used before and that is why it did not work. Now he is researching it. THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!
