Prime Day actually worked out well for me and I too thought it was a bit better than last year, when I got almost nothing other than the gift card deal. This year, I picked up the gift card deal, a nice little 1TB SSD for only $149 (plus tax) after the Prime Day discount and the $30 Amazon credit card deal, and one of those little mini computers for my husband on the day before Prime Day using the "Early Access" 20% off Warehouse code. I totally agree, however, with whoever is was upthread who said that the deals are just laid out totally wrong for browsing, and I never page through any of that stuff, Prime Day or not. Just go in, look for what I want, hope it's on-sale, and don't buy if not...
