@beic: Yay! Yep, that's good news.
So, yeah, just *imagine* you could use KUAL and follow the instructions to install MRPI (basically unpack an archive and you're done. Note that, again, you'll have to use the one from the snapshots), and once that's done you should at least be able to install stuff now

FWIW, most of my stuff is perfectly usable without KUAL, the only thing that relies on slightly more complex user-interaction through KUAL is the Fonts hack.
Hopefully we'll figure out something to get KUAL or a KUAL-ish thing to work, but in the mean time, that's the basics
