Looks about right. Some books are divided into parts (part 2 ends at chapter 24, part 3 starts at 25 onward) but the logic in the chapter detection isn't advanced enough to detect the span.
In that kind of case, you'd want to modify the chapter file manually so that the end of part 1 matches with the beginning of part 2, end of part 2 matches the beginning of part 3, etc.

Not sure; sounds like an issue on the newer firmware/devices if anything. On my PW1 I can replace the X-Ray without issue (as long as the book was closed before I do it). I have no way of testing it on anything newer
