I've read the first two books. I liked
Master and Commander, but didn't care as much for
Post Captain. I've been told that the series begins to hit its stride in the third book so I'm looking forward to that.
Also I recommend listening to these "Music from the Aubrey-Maturin Novels" CDs while reading.
