Installed the downgrade 5.7.4, installed the jailbreak; installed the hotfix update successfully. KUAL does not yet work. It says "Application Error. The selected application could not be started. Please try again." I understand that it is expected at this time and an update to KUAL may be forthcoming if I read correctly. I have not yet upgraded the Oasis back to 5.8.1 so it is still on the 5.7.4.

I do appreciate all of your hard work in providing these tools. Thank you so much!
If you can, keep it on 5.7.4 - -
We may need to test changes to KUAL on Oasis-5.7.4 vs Oasis-5.8.1

Amazon has been saying it was dropping support for Active Content documents - it could be that Oasis is the point of change.

One way to tell might be to check the Kindle Store for any Active Content documents for Oasis -
Usually any game or other interactive application may be an Active Content document, some are (or used to be) free.

Translation:
If the Amazon Store is still selling Active Content things for the Oasis, we know we can make KUAL work again.
