See if USBnet works (using the search bar command). It is part of the factory install process (though a factory reset/restore erases the factory goodies). If you can SSH into a root shell, you can install most anything manually. But beware that we do not know where the serial posrt is (if any) in an Oasis, so bricking coud be permanent (until we find a debricking solution) and you must tread lightly in there and with great care. Or better, wait for the experienced devs (who have no Oasis to test on) to package up some hacks for you (now in progress).

There are a bunch of search bar ';' commands, yet to be documented publicly, that become available on a factory firmware. USBnet support is one of them. ;installHtml (which can run your own custom package) is another.
